As part of the impact programme on STFC funded science, STFC Innovations Ltd. manages STFC generated, owned or managed Intellectual Property (IP). There are several different ways to commercialise this technology, the most common of which are through licenses or spin outs. STFC Innovations Ltd. is responsible for setting up the opportunity into a spin out company until necessary investment funding and strong commercial management is found.
